Heute war wieder mal ein Famara Flugtag angesagt.
Haben den frühen Vormittag noch ausnützen können bevor der Regen und der Wind auffrischte.
Danach stand der Timafaya Nationalpark mit seinen Attraktionen auf dem Programm mit anschließender Fahrt nach Playa Blanca.
Ab 16 Uhr waren dann aber wieder ganz ausgezeichnete Flugbedingungen in Famara…und diese haben wir uns nicht entgehen lassen…..bis in den Vollmondschein mit Landung 30 min nach Sonnenuntergang konnte man sich von den laminaren Wind in die Höhe tragen lassen…
und natürlich sind wieder einige von uns die ganze 24 km Ridge hin und retour abgeflogen.
Ja, es hat sicher schon schlechtere Flugtage auf Lanzarote gegeben als der heutige.
Today we made use of the good flying conditions in the morning in Famara before the wind increased and it started to rain.
Afterwards we went to the National Park of Timafaya to see all the vulcanos in a bus ride over there, followed by a trip to Playa Blanca.
At around 4 p.m. the sun came out again and we had perfect flyinmg conditions in Famara.
Again quite a few pilots managed to fly the whole 24 km long ridge up and down.
We could fly till 30min after sunrise and landed when the full moon started to shine..
Really nothing to complain about such a flying day in Lanzarote.
