Heute hat sich aufgrund des starken Windes eine fast 20 köpfige Truppe von uns für eine ca. 16 km lange Klippenwanderung entlang der Famaraküste entschlossen…ja, und diese ist dann (besonders für eine Splittergruppe) auch rel. spektakulär verlaufen da diese mit nicht ganz ungefährlicher Kletterei in den brüchigen Lavagestein verbunden war…aber es ist Gott sei Dank alles gut gegangen und so haben wir dann alle (der eine mehr ,der andere weniger erschöpft) diese äußerst schöne Panoramatour am späteren Nachmittag beendet.
Eine andere Gruppe war aber auch fliegerisch aktiv und haben den starken Wind in Orzola (Start vom Strand) bzw am Soroto und El Roberto (unser Martin ganz alleine nach einer Kite Aktion am Strand von Famara) getrotzt.
Morgen sollte aber lt. Windprognose der Wind zumindest bis Mittag recht gut fliegbar sein und wesentlich schwächer als heute…also hoffen wir das Beste !
Today we (almost 20 of us) started a 16 km long walk along the Cliffs of Famara (actually the path is in the cliffs) which was partly quite dangerous coz some of us had to climb some really tough parts along the way…but luckily we all survived this climb and reached safely
the other end of the cliffs.
It really was a great scenic walk.
Another group flew at 3 other flying sites on the island and had a nice time as well riding the wild wind on Lanzarote.
Tomorrow the wind forecast says moderate wind..so , we hope to spend some quality time in the air.
