31.3.2010 Rabac- Eastcoast of Istria

Due to the good weather conditions we started right after the breakfast from the West -to the East coast of Istria to the village of Rabac. It was for both of us where our first trip to this place and we really enjoyed the trip. Lots of untouched little beaches ....one after the other along the coast of Rabac...and all this beaches where only for the 2 of us on this day like it seems were reachable by inline skating...so we were really thrilled. Amazing was also the trip through the inland of Istria from the west to the east coast and the way back where we had choosen a different route. The evening we spend with our so gernerous couch surfer host Goran who was quite a few times more often in India than me...so we had lots of topics to talk about on this evening. He wants to go to India for 6 months for the next time...and there are still people on this planet who think that I´m often on holiday ???

29. 3.2010 Limsky Fjord-Rovinj-Vrsar -Porec

29.3.2010

We left Koper after breakfast, and headed for Limsky Fjord in Istria, Croatia.
The season is just beginning, so everyone is still relaxed...our Captain Michel had time to chat and even let Veda steer the ship for a while.
After the beautiful trip along the Fjord we stopped in Vrsar-a lot has changed here- it was lovely and quiet at this time of the year.
We spent the evening in Porec. The town is great for inline skating-especially as you can skate along the sea a lot of the time. We were yet again amazed by the friendliness of the couch surfing community. Goran, our host offered us his Appartment, right on the sea-front and with a beautiful view of the old town of Porec-we're speechless.
